A Virtual Event • Tuesday, September 21, 2021 • 02:00 PM EST - 03:00 PM EST

While there are a number of international agreements to tackle climate, there is currently no international mechanism in place to limit fossil fuel expansion.

To address the elephant in the room, the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty was launched one year ago and has since received endorsements from over a dozen cities, 101 Nobel Laureates, 2,100+ academics and hundreds of civil society organizations.

Hear from those involved in the initiative about wins from the past year and the biggest tasks left to tackle ahead of COP26 and beyond.

Speakers include Tzeporah Berman, Brenna Two Bears, Bill McKibben, Joao Duccini (Fridays for Future Brazil), Nikki Reisch (CIEL), Abigael Kima (PowerShift Africa) and Tamara Toles O'Laughlin + more to be announced soon.
