Toward a Fossil Fuel Treaty: Building a Community for Change

  • Sixth Street Community Centre 638 East 6th Street New York, NY, 10009 United States (map)

Momentum is building toward the negotiation of a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. This bold proposal is on the verge of a major breakthrough, now spearheaded by 13 nation-states, 115 cities and 3,500 organisations and institutions. But to pull off this ambitious vision of a fossil free future, we need to deepen engagement with and between communities across the world

Join us in a wonderful community space in the heart of New York during Climate Week to participate in a tailored strategy discussion with leading experts, activists and organisers as we collectively envision how to secure a global mechanism to manage a fast and fair phase out of fossil fuels.

When: Tuesday 24th September, 11:00 - 14:00
Location: Sixth Street Community Center
Lunch provided. RSVP required.
