Ukrainians call for #FossilFuelTreaty

Ukrainians call for a #FossilFuelTreaty to restore peace in Ukraine but also in all countries where the fossil fuel industry operates, systematically causing conflict. Global security, energy security and climate security mean phasing-out oil, gas and coal.

Stopping all new fossil fuel production in a fair and equitable way is in no way synonymous with global chaos or a threat to the development of least developed countries. On the contrary, fossil fuel exploitation is a trap that delays the opportunities for development and social justice that a democratic economic model based on renewable energy could bring.

With Russia producing the largest amount of natural gas in the world, second only to the US, and the top supplier to Europe, all eyes are on Russia Join people from around the world to call on your governments to endorse the #FossilFuelTreaty and invest in a just transition: https://www.with-ukraine.org/
