Public Launch of the Parliamentarians Call for a Fossil Fuel Free Future

Join us on September 17 at 12 noon UTC/GMT for the public launch of the sign-on process for the Parliamentarians Call for a Fossil Fuel Free Future – an important new project initiated by 20 nationally-elected officials in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific calling for a global transition away from coal, oil, and gas.

Hear from the initiators of the Call speaking out on the urgency of working for Fossil Fuel Free World and find out more information about this important initiative.

The project, launching soon, will require support from individuals around the world, encouraging their own members of parliament to sign on to the Call in the lead up to COP26.

  • Tasneem Essop, Executive Director of Climate Action Network International

  • Asad Rehman, Global Campaign to Demand Climate Justice
