Over the past year we’ve seen the proposal for a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty go from just an idea mentioned in a few academic papers, to a global campaign now backed by more than 600 civil society organisations and 1,500+ scientists and academics.

This network spans every continent, and is backed by organisations and leaders from the youth climate movement, Indigenous Peoples, the health sector, faith communities and academics.

And that’s not all. 101 Nobel Laureates, including the Dalai Lama, and a network of dozens of nationally-elected Parliamentarians around the world have also called for the 3 pillars of the proposed Treaty.

You can join this growing network by endorsing the Treaty proposal here.
